Her body shifted and her eyes widened as the mare looked around. Her large eyes shifting from one place to another as the grass licked her heal. She spotted a few horses and let out knickers as she trotted along the fence. Her large body bobbed and she pawed at the ground feeling more like herself now that this boy saved her and her foal. She shifted her head watching as the foal ran bucking and tossing his head also on a rampage from the energy he had never had before. Gabe walked up the fence and let out a long whistle as he watched them lose some of their new found energy. He knew this would be an amazing colt at the age of 1 he was already showing promise as a raining horse. His mother on the other hand was long tall and had amazing air time in her steps making her a very good western pleaser horse. He knew he would start working on the two with his sister Kaiden. The mare bolted for him her long legs smoothly moving along the ground as the colt passed her and slid about 5 feet with out a problem, provided he did not run into the fence. He slipped a halter on both and led them to the stalls taking the time to groom and tack them both up. He would ride the mare and work on the colt after a wile. He tied the stud up and moved to the mare taking her to the indoor ring and getting on softly. He worked her soft noticing another rider only briefly before touching the mares mouth softly. She dropped her head to the ground and moved her hip in when asked to.

Mackenzie jogged silently down to the large campus barn. She had been wanting to take Red for a nice ride in the large indoor arena she had heard about over the past few days, but she just hadn't found time untill that Saturday morninng.
The young women was hoping that she might have company when she rode, as it made it more fun to see and meet other horse people, like herself, but the chances of someone getting up early in the morninng to ride was slim, at least where she was from.
The brunnette strode down towards the stall that her beautiful chestnut stallion had been assigned. On the wooden sliding door hang his brown leather halter just where she had put it. Mac quickly wiped her finger across the shiny nameplate on the side, before unbolting the stall door, and sliding it open. "Hey Red!" The girl gave her Quarter Horse a pat on the neck before slipping the halter over his delicate chestnut head. Mac didn't grab a lead before asking her barrel horse to step out of his nicely manacured stall, and into the brightly lit aisle way.
Both Red, and his handler took notice in the man, a mare, and what appeared to be her foal just down the aisle. The young women very confidently place a petite hand on the horses shoulder to comfort him, and he queitly behaved like the horse he was known to be.
Mac had him groomed and tacked up very quickly. She had choosen her nice brown barrel saddle, with the silver accents, along with the matching breastplate, that held a few diamonds. She also made sure to use her nice Western saddle rug. It was bright red, that was sure to get her and Red noticed, as well as matching fire truck red splint boots. The final touch was a nice leather bridle that had a browband covered in crystals. The women sighed as she examined her horses tack, making sure to tighten her cinch, before gracfully mounting up on her Quarter Horse in the middle of the aisle.
The brunnette brushed back a lock of dark brown hair, away from her eyes, as she nudged her stallion into a brisk walk towards the big barn doors, that were ajar. Mac knew it might get her in trouble to ride down to the arena, but with the move and all she felt like she was just to tired to even walk on foot to the indoor arena. "Come on boy!" Mac clucked to the equine under her.
The pair of them entered the indoor arena with grace and she was a little bit sad to find that the indoor arena was empty. Oh well! Maybe it is better. I would hate to have to share the arena with a show jumper! Mac thought to herself. Just the tought of the stuck up, horse abusers made her stomach lurch. Maybe it was bad to name the whole group of people just because of a few people, but that was the experience she had with them, and that is what she needed to believe.
Starting to warm up she clucked Red into a nice trot. She liked to start out with a full out trot, before moving into the nice slow collected jog.
