Woah, Mona Lisa, I'd pay to see you frown He senses something, call it desperation Another dollar, another day And if she had the proper words to say, ( She would tell him But she'd have nothing left to sell him --------------- ! ) Star was excited. She was definitely in the party mood and even though she knew absolutely no one in this city, she was going to change that tonight. She was going to go out dressed up and make the most of this night. She smiled as she dried her hair and sang along with her music on pandora. Being a performer, she was so eager to get out on the dance floor and just have a good time.
The pretty blonde had her makeup done in no time. She went to the closet and took out a short white dress that had glimmers of gold in it. It was one of her favorites and always showed off her curves the best. Once it was on, she picked out a pair of open toed glittery gold high heels. She strapped them on and stood up, and checked out herself in the mirror. She smiled at herself in the mirror. Let's go. With that, she grabbed her purse and car keys and was out the door to her awaiting white lexus lfa.
She pulled up to the front of the club and she immediately got attention from the long line outside of the club, thanks to her speedy hot sports car. She, of course, was on the vip list and always was since she was a international super star. Santa Barbara was basically a mini los angeles so there were definitely celebs in the area, and she was one of them. People gasped as she got out of the car. She smiled and kept her gaze towards the ground for a second before looking up at the line of people and smiled, showing off her pearly white. Star then looked to the club bouncer who opened the door for her. She smiled sweetly at him.
Inside, the club was definitely bouncing. The music blared, the people danced, and the alcohol was continually being pored. She looked upstairs at the vip booths and headed towards the stair case. She greeted the bouncer at the stair case before climbing it and finding an empty box. Once in it, she set her purse down on the table and walked back out and down the stairs to where the party was at. Star immediately went over to the bar. Being an Irish, it was in her blood to drink. She wasn't an alcohol, but she loved the burn of the whiskey and the sting of the vodka.
People looked at her as she walked up to the bar, but then went about their business. She winked at the cute bartender. What's it gonna be tonight sweet cheeks?

[/i] She smiled softly, blushing a little bit. Start me off with an absolut bull right now, eh? Make it an open tab will ya? I'll be sure to tip you at the end of the night, don't worry. She flashed him another wink and a smile and got to work on the drink once he brought it to her. The blonde turned and watched the dancing crowd for a bit as they danced up and down. Butterflies swirled in her stomach. She loved this atmosphere. It gave her an adrenaline rush and she loved every minute of it. Alexandrite twisted in front of the mirror, eying the outfit with his custom, critical expression. The crop top leather jacket exposed a few inches of his pale, milky white stomach, the low-rider jeans only exposing a touch of hip. He'd been called stereotypical gay more times than he could count. Didn't care anymore now than he had then. His black onyx and hematite choker, single feather earring, silver bangles and belly piercing completed his look. The singer grinned, turning on heel to grab his keys, his boots clicking against the floor as he walked out. Alexandrite paused at the door, giving the black Labrador puppy on his bed a stern look, it just stared at him with its usual, all to innocent look, and suddenly he was glad it hated the taste of perfume, it was probably the only thing that kept it away from his clothes and shoes. Alexandrite slid into the seat of the Ferrari P4/5, the engine purring as he turned the key. He loved the snarl of the engine the moment he pressed on the gas, like a angry animal, representing power and speed.
The radio shut off as the engine went quiet, the lights flashed through the windows of then Nightclub, multicolored and electrifying. It was all part of the mood. Alexandrite smiled crookedly as he pushed open the door, pressing the button the remote lock, pausing to listen to the confirming beep before he stepped in. A car like that, all but in a spot light where it was parked in the reserved staff area, was all too tempting to risk. The singer weaved through the crowd easily, nodding at the bouncer that looked at him from the front door. Alexandrite was typically a eye-catcher, with a slender build, pale delicate skin, glasz eyes and a small stature of only 5'1, but after the first time of watching someone get mauled by the new bouncer, no one was going to mess with him. Whoever the guy who had helped him out was, he packed quite a punch. Alexandrite grinned at the thought as he finally escaped the dancing crowd.
"Hey. Alex, mind taking over for me?" Alexandrite rolled his eyes as he approached the counter, that certainly hadn't taken long. "Its Alexandrite, crétin," the singer ignored the confused look from the person he was insulting, taking his place behind the counter as he walked off, still confused, to restock the stores. "Bonjour madame," Alexandrite kept the greeting brief as he focused on the crowd, his glasz eyes flickering as he tracked the ones that hadn't ordered in a while, only a few seconds passing before he decided that it would be a while before they ordered again. Alexandrite wasn't entirely sure how he'd gone from a singer and a model to a bartender, but it was a easy job, fun at times, absolutely infuriating the rest. The singer chuckled softly as he watched the other bartender walk halfway to the stores before freezing, the indignant squawk making it clear that he'd just riddled out that crétin, meant moron.
Alexandrite turned back around, a half smile on his face as he absently whipped down the counter, singing along with Buttons, by The Pussy Cat Dolls, under his breathe. "I'm telling you to loosen up my buttons babe, but you keep frontin', sayin' what you gon' do to me..." His counter-tenor voice hit the notes with a ease that had amazed his voice instructor, not to mention the random strangers that heard him sing, but it was usually his boldness that left them shell shocked. Things like singing along with Pussy Cat Dolls. Alexandrite shook his head at the thought, offering the girl a smile before he continued scanning the crowd. Normally he'd be in a different mood, bright, friendly, talkative, but at his job, he was almost a different person entirely. Unless you got him talking of course.
Word Count; 663 Status; Complete Muse; Great Listening To; Master Plan- Adam Lambert & Buttons- Pussy Cat Dolls Song; Buttons- Pussy Cat Dolls Tags; Star O'Hara Notes; Why do I think that the advise of having her not call him 'Alex' can go unspoken? Woah, Mona Lisa, I'd pay to see you frown He senses something, call it desperation Another dollar, another day And if she had the proper words to say, ( She would tell him But she'd have nothing left to sell him --------------- ! ) She couldn't help but get amped up. The Absolut Bull wasn't really helping, but she could care less. She loved this. Even though she was here alone, she was having fun just watching the crowd and dancing in her bar stool as she sang along to the music. She of course got a lot of stares here and there and a few people had even come up to her to take a picture with her. She didn't mind doing that. She loved her fans, even though half the time they could get out of hand. There had been a couple times where a guy had tried to grab her, but they ended up getting pushed back or punched by one of her body guards.
Star smiled bright as the song ended and a new song faded in. She turned back towards the bar to get another Absolut Bull. She smiled at the obvious gay guy behind the bar. He was different from the one she had just seen a few minutes, but she didn't mind. Her smile brightened even more as she watched him sing along to the music. She nodded her head along to the beat. He had a good voice and would be surprised if he had never been discovered. She joined in with him, her bright blue eyes sparkling as she glanced at his. She slid her glass forward. Pausing her singing for a bit, she said, Can I get another Absolut Bull, please? She was now starting to feel a slight buzz.
The pretty blonde suddenly got a bright idea. She leaned forward, excited. Hey! How about you get on stage with me and we do a duet? You know 'Payphone', right? She hoped to god he knew who she was. Then again, who didn't? Star held the happy and excited gaze, hoping he would say yes. She wanted to party and was sure she could make this place bump even more. Come on! It'd be epic! She then continued to bob her head to the music, tapping her foot as well until the cute gay guy gave her an answer, and hopefully his name.
