This here is Britton Hamilton. I know his name sounds kind of rich and pretentious but he's actually dirt poor. He's in his third year of college but he has more than one left. Why? because where the average college student takes four to five classes a semester he only takes one to two. It's not because he's lazy but because he is working his way through school because his parents can't afford to pay for it. He's been riding for two years. Before coming to Adrenaline Rush the only time he'd ridden was at pony rides at carnivals. He's a firm believer in trying every opportunity available so he tried it out. He loves it, but unfortunately doesn't have a ton of time to ride. Britton is very self conscious. He feels like an outsider so he doesn't really open up to people. He needs some friends, lovers, enemies, whatever. Plot him up. Your character might recognize him because he works in the library and moonlights three nights a week as a bartender.

This is my boy, Alexandrite D'Angelus. He is a major diva at moments, but sweet enough to make up for it all the rest. He and Britton have potential to be
friends: Alexandrite would find his love of books and quiet nature endearing, and since he has a tendency to do most of the talking himself, the lack of conversation on his part wouldn't do much. Alex is also the furthest thing from judging, with his french accent, flamboyant nature, high pitched voice and open homosexuality, he was on the receiving end of a lot of it before he found his home in stage life. I can also see them as
Lovers: You put questioning as his sexuality, perhaps Alexandrite would kind of be his first relationship in that area? Alex is nineteen, independent in most areas, but in the matter of romance, he needs someone strong, mellow, tolerant, outgoing who can endure the spontaneous shopping trips to Los Angeles. That being said, I think Alexandrite and Britton have a chance. Let me know what you think.

sorry for taking so long to reply.
I think they'd be interesting friends. I feel like Alex (I'm lay and calling him Alex, deal) would talk and be his lovely flamboyant self and Britton would roll his eyes and tell him to be quiet because this is the library. I say they are in the library because Britton works there xD. I'm sorry if this is coming off as rude, I feel like it is but it isn't meant to be.
As lovers I think it could work but I'm not sure. We could play it out and give it a try? Instinctually he feels straight but I put questioning because, well, I've never played a straight man in my life. I keep trying, I really do but they always end up falling for some guy. That aside I'm not sure how well they'd work. As I said, I'm up for trying if you are. It's just in my head Britton is a shy little virgin. Not shy but whatevs. He's so used to being independent and taking care of himself that I don't think he'd know what to do in a relationship. Like the whole communication thing would go right over his head.

I can imagine that with them as friends. And of course, Alex (thank you for giving me a excuse to be lazy as well) would probably roll his eyes and keep chatting. Alex really isn't capable of taking anything like that as rude, it takes a very, very direct insult to offend him... unlike me with my raging temper. A library would be great, because Alex goes there for inspiration for his music or a quiet place to write his songs.
Sounds good to me, I see what you mean by not being sure that they'd work out. I was kind of the same with my characters for a long time, before suddenly, someone asked if my character was gay... I told her that I didn't know. I've barely even had a bisexual character ever since. So yeah, I'm definitely up to trying. Alex is kind of the same, a virgin, but definitely not a shy one. Alex is kind of dependent with romance, like a mentioned before, and he'd be adamant about getting their communication worked out, but the funniest thing about Alex, is that when it comes to someone he likes, he has the patience of a saint. Perhaps they could end up getting to know one another better because Alex is kind of tutoring him in riding?

That sounds good with me. Want to start a thread for them? I think they'd have a dysfunctional relationship if they dated. But in a cute way not how dysfunctional relationships usually go in writing with fighting and stuff. just like, a lot of miscommunication problems. I feel like Britton just wouldn't think to tell Alex stuff cause it's just not natural for him. But he could learn.
It started for me when I made a character to be my friends characters fiance. It was a harry potter rp and he was this stereotypical slytherin. There was something about him that never worked out. Then my friend and I jokingly shipped him with his future brother in law (his fiance's sisters husband) anyway, they hated each other but something just clicked. Talk about a dysfunctinal relationship though. Anyway all of a sudden he made sense. My characters have been bitten by the gay bug ever since.
I'd love to thread them and give it a whirl. It's finals week for me so I can't promise any sort of promptness in terms of replies. I have two papers that need to be done tomorrow. 2000 words left on one and haven't started the other. one more week.

Alright then! I'm not very good with starting threads, but I can handle it. Library, maybe he'll be looking for inspiration. Dysfunctional relationship sounds kind of like how they'd end up, and thanks for cutting out any fighting from it, I don't think I could handle rping that right now. And yeah, maybe if they work out Britton would manage to work through it, and Alex is certainly the person to be around when you have communication issues! Never a awkward silence with him, unless he tripped and is embarrassed... In which case he gets kinda cute/scary if you talk to him. Adorable when frustrated, down right terrifying when angry...
Yeah, my first was a Twilight rpg, and I doubt I could have made him any more eccentric, stereotypical gay. Look up a picture of Bill Kaulitz if you want to know exactly what I mean. I just imagined him and his sister joking around, and next thing I knew, I was visualizing her teasing him about his latest boyfriend. And just like that, I had my first gay character. Like you, I haven't had a single straight character since, male or female.
Alright, and don't worry, my responses can get slow sometimes, because my muse has kinda been a hot & cold thing lately, one moment I'm going on a reply rampage, next thing I know, I pull up another post, put my hands on the keyboard........ Annnddd stare at the blank screen for half a hour. Anyways, I'll pm you the link to the thread when I start it. In the library, with him looking for inspiration for his songs.
